Where did January go?

WOW I haven't posted in about a month! I am so ashamed! I was going to keep this blog hopping! *smacks self* "Bad Girl! *hangs head*

Well I guess I need to do some updating!

SPINNING!!!!!!
I finished this roving 6 days ago.

I have also finished another roving. It is 70-30 Wool Silk. I don't have pictures yet but I will make sure to post them soon. (I promise! lol)

I have also purchased some more roving. I will make sure to get pictures of that Roving Porn for ya also. ;)

KNITTING!!!!
OMG I haven't finished anything....I don' think. I started some gloves twice and both times they came out wrong. The first time way to big...the second time to small. I am making them for my hubby. His hands get cold at work. (hyster driver)
Right now I am working on a Washcloth,A Better Bucket hat and a Market Bag. I will start work on a pair of baby slippers as soon as my KnitPicks order comes in. OH I bought a yarn winder!!! I can't wait!! I will get to ball up my handspun and my store bought yarn.

LIFE.....
The only thing new there is that I have the new strand of the Flu and my mom's husband's mom has cancer that has spread from her liver to all over including her brain. She can no longer walk. Her 20 year old grandson is living with her and has to carry her around the house. She is getting chemo everyday and she is on hospice and is not expected to live for long. Weeks maybe but not months. Her name is Linda if you would like to light a candle for her or send a prayer out for her.

Well thats all for now. I am going to go take pictures and get some spinning done. Have a great day and please check back. I WILL post more! I love posting but I just forget to do it. lol

Have a wonderful day and remember to love those that are around you. You never know when something might happen.

I'm sorry to hear about your step-grandmother. I hope what time she has left is peaceful and pain free.
